Services Prepare a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition from the Client Intake Forms and supporting documents supplied by the attorney. The petition will include all required schedules and local forms for the bankruptcy district. • Check PACER website to determine if and when the clients have previously filed bankruptcy. • Check with the county recorders office for real property ownership and to determine if there are any outstanding liens or judgments against the clients. • Use Kelly Blue Book or NADA website to verify the value of any vehicles owned by the clients. Additional services include but are not limited to: • Perform any additional due diligence as needed. • Verify debtor(s) has satisfied the client counseling requirements • Emergency Chapter 7 petition preparation • Preparation of the Means Test • Online search of criminal and/or civil records if necessary • Client follow-up to obtain missing information and/or clarify information as needed • Attorney summary outlining potential problem areas requiring his/her review • Finalize/revise petitions as instructed by the Attorney • Electronic filing of petition upon Attorney approval • Prepare amendments due to missing or revised information • The final petition will be emailed to the Attorney within 48 hours of filing • Monitor case/status case tracking through PACER for additional fee • E-file documents through CM/ECF • Perform any additional due diligence as needed. |
